Brett Christensen, Owner - CU Lending Advice, LLC.

Brett is the owner of CU Lending Advice, LLC. As such, he works directly with credit unions in the U.S and Canada teaching and consulting on various lending topics to professionals that work in the credit union industry. His personal and entertaining speaking style have also made him a popular and sought out speaker in the credit union industry.

Prior to forming his own company, Brett worked for four years as a lending consultant and trainer for Lending Solutions Consulting, Inc. of Elgin, IL. Prior to his job at Lending Solutions, Brett was the Chief Sales Officer of APPRO Systems, Inc. which purchased the Loan Link Lending Center which Brett managed as the President for three years.

Prior to his work at Loan Link, Brett worked for five years at the $680 million Clark County Credit Union in Las Vegas, Nevada. He also worked as a civil engineering officer in the United States Air Force.

He has earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy in 1987, and a Master's of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix in 1991.

Shayne Hilburn, Business Manager - CU Lending Advice, LLC.

Shayne has worked directly with Brett for the last six years and is currently pursuing his MBA at the University of Dallas. Shayne is the Business Manager for CU Lending Advice, LLC. Shayne handles all aspects of business development for CU Lending Advice and this website.

Pierre Cardenas

Pierre Cardenas has 26 years in the financial industry at both credit unions and banks. He has held executive level positions in organizations as large as a billion in assets.

Pierre has been consulting, training and presenting for the financial industry since 2008 when he started his business “Innovators of Change” while serving as the Senior VP of Retail at a $540 Mill CU. Pierre’s experience in using technology to streamline processes has given him incredible insight as to the trends in the industry, a future look at what could be and how an organization can position themselves for position advantage.
